A size 10 pattern representing an emerging insect. The body is traditional hare’s ear dubbing with a gold rib, the tail is hare’s ear guard hairs but the fly is finished with a Firefly orange hot head bead at the eye, This, along with the florescent orange emerging wing, gives an old pattern a new zest of life. Trout will still take this pattern as a traditional nymph, but the excitement of the orange triggers many extra takes. This fly is mainly a lake pattern but it would also catch on rivers. This pattern will succeed from the start of the season to the end.
