A size 10 pattern representing a damsel nymph. The tail is bright yellow polypropylene, the butt end of the body is orange fur the front of the body is brown fur and it's all kept in order with a rib of gold wire. The fly is finished with a collar of olive marabou. This is not really a realistic pattern but more an impressionist fly, which works exceptionally well. From the fluttering of the marabou collar to the brightness of the “ ass” end of the fly, all factors attract fish. This pattern is suitable for use on lakes and can be used all season.
