This pattern is tied on a size 10-curved hook and imitates an emerging nymph. The under body is silver, with just one cock pheasant tail fibre wound over it. This gives iridescence to the body that fish find very attractive. The thorax is orange dubbing, with white CDC stretched over it and over the eye of the hook in a shuttlecock style. The CDC feathers hang the fly vertically in the surface film imitating many hatching flies. In lakes the fly should be fished almost stationary and in rivers the retrieve should just keep pace with the current speed. This fly can be used all year round.
