A size 14 pattern representing a wide range of olives, from the Large Spurwing to the Lake Olive and also covering the spinner stage of these flies. The body is made of a stripped hackle stalk, giving the fly a natural segmented look. Two C.D.C. feathers form the wing, encased by a winding of mid-brown genetic cock hackle. Cast to fish rising to natural Olives during the day and as night approaches fish it as a spinner pattern in the surface film. This fly is suitable for use on both lakes and rivers from early May to the end of September.
