This fly is tied on a number 10 hook and is a representation of a large black Caddis. A black hackle on the thorax,
palmered hackle on the body and a black hair wing make this an essential pattern for those July and August
evening on the river. As the sun goes down and the black Sedges start skittering across the surface cast this
pattern across the pool and retrieve with a fast jerky style. Takes will be very positive with even modest quarter
to half pounders feeling like big fish.
