A size 12 pattern that imitates the cased Caddis. The head of the fly is a non-toxic lead shot, the body of the fly is spiky dark brown dubbing that tapers down to a Firefly’s Lumi egg sack which is surrounded by partridge hackle.  The egg sack and partridge hackle suggest the caddis grub poking out of its constructed case.  On rivers fish this pattern as a single fly or as part of a team cast up stream and retrieve back.  The lead shot will insure the fly gets to the correct depth.  When lake fishing cast in the margins and retrieve very slowly.  Suitable for use all season.
