This fly is tied on a size 12 hook and is a general nymph pattern. An under body of olive floss forms the tail and the front legs, the main body is even wraps of medium lead wire and an olive floss thorax and head completes the fly. This pattern can work well as a light stalking bug, the lead wire getting the fly down to the fish, the olive thorax and tail showing up in the clear water and helping take detection.  Also it can be used as a traditional pattern on a team of three at a lake or reservoir.
