A medium sized up winged Olive representation tied on a size 14 hook. A traditional pattern using a striped peacock herl for the body, giving a very realistic segmented body, a split Starling wing and a blue dun hackle. This fly will cover a lot of Olive dun patterns from the Large Dark Olive at the start of the season to the Blue Winged Olive, which stretches almost to the end of the season. Presentation of the fly should be drag free and cast to rising fish during a hatch of the naturals. This fly will catch fish from late March to September.
