A size 14 pattern that represents the Water boatman or Corixa. The under body is a Firefly pearly Scintillator bead, the over body is closed cell foam; with two feather fibers swept back to form the paddles. The water boatman is found in weedy areas of stillwaters and as the have to go to the surface to replenish oxygen they tend to stay in shallow water. Fish this pattern with a mixed retrieve, sometimes a very slow figure of eight, sometimes a fast strip. This lake pattern is at its most productive during August and September.
