A size 10 pattern representing a nymph or a drowned adult. The body is peacock herl with a rib of gold tinsel wound through it, the tail of the fly is florescent orange and the head of the fly is a Firefly orange hot head bead. In front of the bead there is a soft black hackle that lays back over the body in a spider style. Fish this fly on a floating line and with a long leader, to moving fish, during a hatch of anything from caddis to upwinged flies. This fly is mainly a reservoir pattern but it would also catch on rivers. The warmer months of the year would be the most productive time to use it.
